e-Consent is a digital consent workflow that allows a candidate to review and sign consent before selected searches are performed using their personal details.<\/p>\n

How to send an e-Consent request<\/h2>\n

  1. Open the E-Consent section.<\/li>\n
  2. Choose New E-Consent.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter the candidate’s first name and surname.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the candidate’s ID number or passport number.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter the candidate’s mobile number and email address.<\/li>\n
  6. Select the checks that require consent.<\/li>\n
  7. Send the request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Why it matters<\/h2>\n

    Where consent is required, it must be properly captured and linkable to the relevant Search ID and reference. e-Consent helps make that process clearer.<\/p>\n
