What Happens After RICA Registration

Once your details are captured and verified, your SIM is activated and you can start using it.
Confirmation #
You will typically receive an SMS from your provider confirming that your SIM has been successfully RICA registered and activated.
How long it takes #
Digital self-service registration is usually near-instant when the verification passes. In-store and assisted registrations are also normally quick, but may take a little longer during busy periods.
If you don’t receive confirmation #
If your SIM does not activate or you don’t receive confirmation, contact your provider. Keep your ID and, if applicable, your proof of address handy so they can resolve the issue quickly.
