What the Candidate Needs Before Opening e-Consent

Candidates respond better to e-Consent when they already understand what it is for and what information they will need.
Helpful preparation #
- Tell the candidate to look out for the e-Consent email or link.
- Ask them to keep their ID number or passport number ready.
- Explain that they may be asked to review and accept or reject listed searches.
- If qualifications are part of the checks, advise them to prepare those details too.
- Remind them that they will need to sign the consent using one of the available signature methods.
Tip: Good candidate preparation can reduce delays and unnecessary rejection of valid consent requests.
