A rejected e-Consent does not always mean the process has failed permanently. It often means the candidate is unsure, disagrees with the listed checks, or needs clarification.
Common reasons for rejection #
- The candidate does not understand why the checks are being requested.
- The candidate believes the details are incorrect.
- The candidate is not ready to proceed yet.
- The candidate does not agree with one or more of the listed checks.
What to do next: Review the reason if one was provided, clarify the process with the candidate, and only resend when the issue has been addressed.
